Flawed when microwave is flushed against a wall.

I like it but when it was installed we tried to open the door but because it was flushed against a wall it would not open. We had to uninstall it and then cut a hole into the drywall. Then reinstall it again and because of the hole in the drywall we were then able to open the door. We called LG before we had to do all of this but they were not helpful. We had to figure this out all on our own. My old microwave factored in this issue and I had no problems opening the door. So I was surprised this design did not try to fix this flaw. It was a pain installing because of this issue

I have used this LG microwave about a month now and am so happy this is the one I went with. It was a learning experience for me as my old one was 20+ years old with not as many features. I like everything about this LG and love the exhaust feature that can be made to extend out over the stove a bit with just one little push on the housing. There are 4 filters which is great also. I do wish the letters were a easier to see.

We purchased all appliances. The dishwasher is wobbly. The stove top is nice but the knobs are shakey. The microwave all ready fell apart and although after two tries we received the right part my husband is the one who had to take his time to fix it. We love the refrigerator.

We purchased this directly from LG and delivery was fast. After much research we decided LG in black stainless was just the ticket. Most over the range microwaves weve had in the past have been nothing to write home about. Not this one. The super clean design no clunky handles the nifty extend a vent feature ease of use and quiet functionality make this a winner. Well try the ThinQ features at some point. Its great modern addition to our kitchen that looks great with our new LG induction range both in black stainless. The rest of our kitchen is not worthy well need to remodel.
