bought this Front Load Dryer last year to replace a LG front load dryer that was over 10 years old and had no problems. The dryer works well but has an audible humming noise that the owners manual states is normal and because of this i gave it 4 stars out of 5.

It makes a weird sound when it starts up and continues to make weird sounds throughout the cycle. It has a D80 error all the tie even though weve thoroughly cleaned the entire vent. And the support team is ridiculous about helping. I assume they are trying to delay sending a service repair because they are hoping Ill let the warranty lapse. Never could get the washer or dryer to connect for the supposed smart feature either. So pointless.

Horrible experience with no response from LG

Decent dryer but the delivery and install tech was not trained in appliance wiring. He wired one of the line wires and the ground on the cord backwards and when he plugged it into the dryer outlet he shorted my house wiring melted down the circuit and caught my house on fire. I let LG know and didnt get any response so I would not recommend letting them send an installer because it will cost a lot more than they charge in home repairs and they do not care.

Thw worst drier that I have ever used

I purchased the Graphite Steel drier because under the bright lights of the store it looked attractive. Down in the basement it is dark and I cannot see all the items to be removed. Why couldnt it have come with inside light? There is a button in the front which should control an inside light but there is none. But the performance is worse than the image. I have been using driers for more than 50 years: laundromats apartments buildings and private homes. I dont know why preset selections think that normal means high temperatures when all the tags of cotton t-shirts and pajamas say medium or low. So I have to go to manual and select time and temperature. I thought that towels selection will be OK. Worse After 15 minutes it is done. I repeat the same thing. So I decided to select Manual dry for 40 minutes. It immediately went to high temperature - which I did not see and again stopped after 15 minutes. I decided to select Normal and again done after 15 minutes. I wish I could return the machine and I may still take my losses.

I have submitted 3 tickets to have someone look at a brand new dryer and I get text with no response after replying. The dryer was finally hooked up after we had an electrician run the correct outlet. Started the dryer and the drum makes noise and something is loose below it.

Had this for a year now and I am still very happy with purchase. Customer service is prompt at responding when there is an issue and working to get it resolved quickly. Only complaint is with wi-fi connection once cycle has finish you cannot restart without manually turning machine back on. Sometime the sensor registers the clothes as dry after a minute when I put it back on again and forget to change the setting to extra dry. Causing me to make a second trip to basement to restart again.

Error messages keep popping up

WE paurchased 6 month ago at Home Depot. Error message says our vent line is clogged. Nonsense. It is only 2 feet long and feeds directly out. No blockage no vent blade on the end. The dryer wont heat.... I have called LG about 10 times each time going through the whole ordeal with automated system. Have gotten a different response from each agent. A string of text messages and still no help. Many hours consumed with this. As of today I said forget it and made a repair appointment with a local tech. Hopefully it can be fixed. Was great until this. Less than a year old. Error code 80 seems to be a common issue.

Had a difficult time figuring out how they both ran as there was no user manual provided. requested one several times on line and finally got a reduced version of the instillation manual. Excellent Dryer Very Pleased So Far

We recently purchased this dryer and so far it has been great. Its features and panel are easy to use and setting up the app was easy. I like that it will notify me when the cycle is done in case Im not within earshot to hear the melody. I was a little concerned after reading reviews saying the that the lint filter can pop up and get stuck on clothing. If you take care not to let the lint build up cleaning it after every cycle then it wont collect underneath the filter. This is where the lint would build up and cause the filter to not fit in flush. The filter does a great job collecting all of the lint but I do keep a small flashlight in the laundry room to take a quick peak inside when I remove it just to make sure theres no buildup. If I do notice something that I will just reach in or vacuum it out with an attachment. I hope this helps some folks in case they are wondering about the bad reviews on the lint filter.

I purchased the LG dryer on January 9 2023 from Best Buy. It was purchased with an LG front load washer. Ive used the dryer several times since the purchase and am extremely happy with the quality and results of the dryer operation. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a new dryer and or washing machine check out the LG DLE3600V dryer and the LG WM3600HVA front load washer.

My husband helps me with laundry now

We first discovered LG washer and dryers last year when our old ones broke we absolutely fell in love with the product and the quality when we sold the house we sadly had to leave them with it but new without a doubt the only washer dryer combo we would buy would be another LG. I think my husband likes this one even better because he now helps me do laundry
