Just purchased a new Amana electric dryer and had it installed. After using it I was surprised to discover that is does not have a buzzer or any way to know when a cycle is completed. This should be a standard option for any dryer. Kinda disappointed at this lack of a basic function.

I would give this dryer 5 stars, but the lint tray is, in my opinion, the most stupid design I've come across. Every time I pull it out, lint get EVERYWHERE! I already have enough cleaning to do with four kids, husband and animals. Unfortunately, I needed a dryer in a pinch for a good price. This is the only thing I hate about this dryer; that's why it gets 3 stars.

We bought a new set in April. Right away I noticed the dryer doesn't stay warm like my last one to save energy by immediately adding the new load. Second the door has never shut easily I had to shut it pretty hard for it to latch and now it won't even latch....

Got these brand new, came with the house I moved into Last year. I noticed that when I use "timed dry" the load is still a but damp,even after drying for 60 minutes. I now use "more dry" and it seems to work a little better, but I have had to restart the dryer again a few times..and they would be dry the 2nd time thru. I also have the washer, and it takes over an hour to wash a load. No "quick wash" setting. :/

Had this machine about a month or so and haven't had any problems with it at all. Unlike the Hotpoint dryer we bought last November and the door latch broke in less than 3 months. Nice to be able to close the new dryer door and not have to keep it shut by using something slammed up against it.

I have had dryer a little over a month. So far clothes come out dryer not wrinkled and cooled down, that part I am happy with. The only complaints(small) I have is that when you are trying to set the time and type of drying, I don't hear or feel a click to let me know I am at right spot. The other complaint is there is no noise signal to let me know dryer is finished.

This is actually the 2nd Replacement Dryer. The first one stopped drying on all but 1 of the settings. Best Buy brought out this 2nd one and it works well on all cycles now. Only issue is that this one is noisier/louder for some reason but, its getting the job done.

We didn't want to buy a new washer and dryer but I am so happy we did. This dryer is incredibly fast even on the low heat settings and it is very quiet when it runs. It has some really good, new features that are nice choices. The wrinkle prevent option really works! This is a great pick for a super dryer at a reasonable price.

I've used both the washer and dryer 4 times each, the washer is quite, the clothes come out clean like there suppose to, l wouldn't buy anything else, but a top loading washer, see I'm 76 year's old and they worked good then

This dryer is amazing for the cost. It's not fancy with all the bells and whistles but I didn't want extra options that's just more expensive and more things to go wrong. I was looking for a cost efficient dryer that would dry my clothes and this unit does just that it's awesome.
